Show Brave Talk By JEANMNE BENNETT This past Friday our basketball basket-ball team once again trampled Davis at Davis. They are planning plan-ning this Friday to trounce Viewmont at Bountiful. We've defeated them once and we can do it again. The game is at 7:30 and the J V game is right before at 5:30. The sophomores play Thursday at Viewmont. THE WRESTLING team placed in the top ten in the state tournament at Weber State. Their season is over and they've done a great job. Those doing extremely well at state were Benson Alder, Dave Smith and Ken Ortiloni. This week is spirit week. We are having activities to boost our spirit for our game against Viewmont on Friday. The officers and advisors are in charge of lunchroom activities, activi-ties, treats and posters. THE CHEERLEADERS are in charge of the all-for-all assembly that will take place on Friday. We did not have All-for-All last year, but we are bringing it back this year in hopes it will be successful once again. This will be the final test to see which class has more spirit. We will be judged and awarded according to our performance. per-formance. Good luck all classes. The speech and debate students stu-dents returned safely from their competition in Tempe. Ariz, last Monday night. They brought home with them the out of state sweepstakes trophy. THE MUSIC department is getting ready for their many upcoming performances in Symphony Hall, California, Pops Concert and their final concert. Keep up the hard work. We hope you had a happy Valentines and had a nice President's Pres-ident's Day holiday. Remember Remem-ber this is a stomp after the game. Keep up that spirit. |
