Show civic clubs to map road program za committee will meet in richfield saturday to discuss plan A complete road program ram for 1939 will be worked out for the 15 counties affiliated with the associated civic clubs of southern utah when the organizations road committee meets in richfield saturday at 7 p m it was announced sunday by russell hawkins of nephi chairman of the committee the meeting will be held in the office of ray E carr executive secretary of the organization county commissioners local civie civic club officers and directors of the southern utah civic clubs in each of the 15 counties already have submitted recommendations for their respective counties according to mr air hawkins the committee will be guided by these requests in making up the program for the entire territory tern tory following the committee meeting it will be submitted to the board of directors for final approval while no decisions have as yet been made for any part of the program mr hawkins said sunday that hat it is apparent from the recommendations ions received that a request for widening and straightening all main arteries and early construction of all interstate connections will be included Al members embers of the committee are mr ir 1 hawkins chairman frank G martines of richfield warren bul lockoff cedar city george M hunt of bicknell laron S addius of st george thomas W jensen of mt aft pleasant and a member of the grand county commission president james al sargent of pan duitch will also probably attend the meeting |
