administration showyin showing the assets expenditures and liabilities of richfield city january 1 1933 1932 showed the following obligations affons sewer obligations 25 paving obligation waterworks Water works city park airport 8 bank loans total obligations tax anticipation notes had been lazed issued against the obligations to the extent of leaving a total indebtedness of richfield city for all purposes and things in the sum of to tako take care of the indebtedness as hereinabove set forth it a sinking fund has been provided in accordance with the requirements quire ments of law to retire the obligations of richfield city that this sinking fund now aggregates which amo amount deducted leave athe total obligations of richfield Kich field city as now constituted amounts at that your present administration further reports as of october 1 1937 the following obligations due from richfield Rich fieM fiell city general obligation bond refunding bond tax anticipation bond waterworks Water works bond street paving bonds obligations to bank total obligations cis as of that the city has on hand to pay the above obligations the sum SEEM of invested capital and a further sum of sinking fund or a total amount ready to be paid on the obligations of which amount deducted from the total indebtedness of richfield city leaves in an obligation against the city of any casual observer will note from the figures hereinabove se set t forth that the indebtedness of richfield city from the period of january 1 1932 to october 1 1937 has been reduced more than fifty per cent the sinking fund is now drawing interest where no interest int est was received in the past the bank I 1 loan interest has been r rm e deuced that the tax collections for 1937 have not been con in these
