Show OF KING DIES FORY at HUM I 1 IN ia 1 many attend funeral services for well known hotel operator harry king well known former richfield resident died at his bis home in marysvale Marys vale early friday morning after having been ill of pneumonia several weeks impressive and largely attended funeral services were held in the L D S chapel at marysvale Marys vale sunday afternoon speakers were P C peterson and H J hansan of richfield mrs alta swain of monroe sang the perfect day thomas ransom and the jones brothers from monroe sang that chati silver haired daddy of mine and the marysvale Marys vale ward choir sang my father knows the open ing prayer was by J W robinson the benediction by F C nickle the grave was dedicated by thos black interment being made in the thompsonville Thomp sonville cemetery mr king was born in salt lake city february 23 1867 and moved to marysvale Marys vale as a young man he lived at richfield for several years where he be owned ind and operated what is now kings rest hotel he also owned and operated the pines hotel at marysvale Marys vale he was very active in civic affairs and for years was mining recorder of plute piute county he married mary ellen thompson on december 16 1890 she survives as well as the following children bryan and orville king ventura california mrs airs dicy breeze lucretia rollo and edna king of los angeles among the out of town people who attended the funeral were mrs james Ra amussen and son clinton and orson of ephraim mrs airs tillie brush and lapreal giever of salt lake city mr and mrs airs homer thompson and an d sons wallace and harold of antimony adrian and champ cuff of st george and many from nearby towns the floral offerings were beautiful |
