Show 0 R H S STUDENT STUD ENT activities 0 0 armistice pay day program A debate between two home room aiu willbe bc the main feature of the AMI armistice stice day program at the Rich richfield fiela high school to which the public is invited carma morrison Morr lson and harold larsen from the senior group 2 the brain Tr trustees Usters will debate in the affirmative firma tive on the statement universal conscription of wealth money and men would be the greatest preventative of war barbara ross and murray maughan from the senior group 1 will debate in the negative the program will open with prayer grayer by wendell knight followed by community singing the debate will be the third on the program preceding a musical reading by anna lou greenwood and a violin solo by frank dale this will be followed by the singing of the national anthem and a military dance by barbara hansen A pep stunt by brain trust ers who are putting on the assembly to advertise the football game with wasatch academe academy y saturday will conclude the program pop rally the biggest pop pep rally of the year will be held friday night at the cinema to create plenty of fire and steam for the game with wasatch academy saturday the rally will include a stunt by the ever ready club and one by the Pah Pali a pep talk and the pic ture operator 13 starring gary cooper and marion davies davics only a nominal no rAinal admission fee and a good loud voice to produce plenty of noise will be required s school hwi play much enthusiasm was shown among students in the tryouts for the school play big hearted herbert last week over 55 students tried out for parts in the play before mr clinger aunger mrs hood and miss fugal who acted as judges after great deliberation tio n on the part cart of the judges the au lucky students were announced on the bulletin board tuesday the ones getting parts were hogarth barton ruth gunn gail borg maurice fuellenbach ray christensen bill warner wamer dick gurr leon bell eugene littlewood anna lou greenwood cleone snow gwen johnson and beatrice sevy mr clinger will be the dramatic coach and director of the play he has chosen jean ashman and anna lou greenwood as assistant directors the play written by sophie kerr and anna steese richardson is a very high type of comedy it is being put on by many of the universities including the utah state agricultural college and the 13 Y U the B Y U is putting on the play Friday and the cast plans to makij a trip to provo to see it They lay will be presented by the richfield Rieb field cast about the middle of december L I 1 brain trust raymond and phelon malouf were invited as the guests of hon or it at the brain Mm emsters Trust cra halloween party last monday at the high school cafeteria the party which proved a huge success was in charge of anna lou greenwood and donald leavitt the malouf brothers were unanimously voted into the club as honorary members wednesday night after af ter practice fifty football fellows opened the door of the cafeteria to behold autumn in all her gayest colors colore they all rushed in but it anything to do with football that attracted them this time it was food the club was the hostess at the affair A program was presented during the courses of the dinner the football fellows look forward to the annual event |
