| Show alta thurber will be state secretary of B P W club the richfield B P W club again proudly P adly boasts that one of its members holds a prominent office in the state B P W federation miss bliss alta thurber recently elected president of the local club was elected recording secretary of the state association at the annual convention held last weekend in ogden other officers elected were miss bliss laveta wallace of logan president mrs edna montgomery of heber city vice president mrs eleanor giddings of ogden treasurer the election was held in the hermitage hotel of interest locally was the pie sen tation at the convention of a pageant progress Pro giess of women by members of the brigham city club under direction of miss nial nelson of richfield beld who taught in the brigham city high school the past terni term miss thelma thclma dastrup of tile the richfield club took pait in the pageant characteristic of miss mis s nelsons belsons Nel sons fine work in dramatic art the beauty of the pageant was a louice of pleasure to everyone attending richfield club members attending the convention were mrs leona morrison president miss bliss alta thurber and miss bliss dorothy dark clark recently elected president and vice pr president eident respectively to assume office in july miss bliss ruby thurber miss thelma dastrup mrs maud childs and miss bliss nial nelson mrs jessie nielson mrs george white and mr and mrs asel nielson returned home the first of the week having enjoyed a trip to snowflake arizona to visit relatives and later going to new mexico and colorado |
