| Show VALUES or OF mm IN m COUNTY decrease ChEASE DE assessors office completes statement for state board A statement of assessed valuation of property in sevier county has been completed at the office of the county assessor soren sorensen Soi ensen and deputy miss virginia rickenbach showing a marked decrease as compared with values last year below are listed the values of different classes of property for this year the figures within parenthesis representing those of 1930 real estate 64 improvements on teal real estate livestock merchandise and trade fixtures motor behic les machinery tools implements and supplies money bonds judgments solvent credits 39 personal property not otherwise listed 1930 only banks real and personal property of banks being assessed and included in their respective classifications ficat ions this year while other properties of tile the banks come under classification of intangibles and are not assessed by the county assessor total assessed valuation for 1931 as compared with for 1930 these totals represent the valuations made by the assessor last year the valuation was cut by the state and county boards to ga 8 figures representing real estate are lower this year because at the request of the farm bureau a ten per cent cut was made on all farm lands this year the most noticeable decrease is in valuation of livestock accountable for by general decrease in values especially of sheep improvements have increased in value accountable for largely by the fact that a number of new buildings have bee been completed during the year |
