| Show SEVIER RUIT A ME HE MOVE 10 directors look forward to success of cooperative marketing the sevier fruit and vegetable growers inc a recently organized marketing association of fruit and vegetable growers of sevier county filed articles of incorporation po ration with the secretary of state friday the articles of if incorporation are signed by A L buchanan of venice 0 P washburn of monroe E W staples of central chas coons of richfield J B of annabella and J L despain of venice directors of the corporation have been chosen as follows A L buchanan 0 P washburn Wash bura E W staples chas coons colons B E mattsson of salina lavell hansen of monroe and J L despain the organization is affiliated with the utah state fruit and vegetable growers association and will come within the district supervised by mr air aidmon of gunnison district manager the constitution and bylaws by laws of the association give it authority to conduct any activity in connection with the harvesting marketing grading standardising standardizing dising pack packing drig transportation storing financing and marketing of products produced by stockholders under contracts of the ton common stock in the corporation po ration shall have a par value of 5 and preferred stock may be issued the par value of which shall be 10 but shall not have the right to vote and shall not bear interest in excess of 8 per cent it is anticipated that the new organization will be a means of stabilizing izing and advancing the production of fruits and vegetables in the county the corporation now has in the neighborhood of a hundred stockholders |
