| Show alno JOIN IN AT SALINA SA I 1 hop jg first ward of richfield is high in scouting contests two hundred boy scouts joined in in the jamboree of the fish lake district bryce canyon council B S A held friday evening and saturday at salina appropriate to the occasion the main street of salina was decorated with the national colors and a large crowd of citizens gave expression to interest in scouting by attending the campfire program friday evening wm win G barton of ephraim scout cout commissioner of bryce canyon council antone winkel of rich richfield fi eld harold magelky of monroe and therral black of salina salin a field f executives and members of the scout court of honor were among the officials in attendance the troops represented with their scoutmasters scout masters were from redmond salina aurora glenwood richfield central monroe elsinore and annabella the mayor of salina welcomed the scouts at the program friday evening and a court of honor was conducted by dr C leo merrill in which advancements were made in practically all tro troops ois the salina high school band furnished music in addition to harmonica selections by the scouts and community singing at sunrise saturday morning the boys arose and contests for breakfast cooks were held followed later by a parade and contests in in all lines of scouting for total number of points in tile the various contests the richfield first ward troop placed ir r n n is i ifs claP rn n cel was second e c 0 d points and the salina south wa ward r d third with 47 points the scouts broke camp saturday in the early afternoon greatly pleased with their jamboree |
