waterworks borics works BE IT ORDAINED by bv the city council of tile city of richfield that sections ag I 1 and of chapter of the revised ordinances ordinance of the city of richfield be amended so 0 o as to lead as follows SECTION the cita shall furnish to each water taker a printed or written notice of the amount of water lates a assessed against him and when and bhele payable if any person neglects fails or refuses to pay his water lates within thirty 30 days biorn the date of said notice the rate shall become delinquent and shall be added to the amount of said rate ten tell per cent 10 additional as a collection charge and if any person 1 neglects beg elects fails or refu refuses es to pay said water lates within thirty 30 d davs a ys from the late date when said water rate becomes delinquent or within sixty 60 lays days from the late date of said notice the collector of water rates shall notify the superintendent of waterworks Water works who shall have the w water a ter turned off flom the premises of such delinquent and before the water w ater shall be turned on again all delinquent water rates must be paid in full up tip to the end of the term tenn as assessed and one dollar additional addition for expense the city treasurer shall be collector of water rates and is hereby empowered to enforce the payment of all delinquent water rates by an action of law in the compoi ate name of the city any water taker not using water after the assessment his has been made will report the same to tho the sup superintendent ei anten lent of waterworks Water works and have the water shut off if he fails to do 0 o the full amount as assessed essed must be paid no allowance will nill be made for nonuse non use for less than six 6 months all corrections in as assessments sess ments and all ab abatements ateman ts shall be made under the direction of the mayor and city council and shall be certified by the superintendent of SECTION the annual rates for the supply of water from richfield to be paid semiannually semi annually in advance to wit one half thereof on the first day of march and one half thereof on the first day of september are herce affixed and
