Show 0 0 I 1 TORREY I 1 by special correspond Corre correspondent spon d ent I 1 B 0 boy loses hand frank wilson the son of the grist miller of the thurber roller mills while playing near the chopper had his right hand caught in it and mangled very badly he was rushed to the salina hospital but the hand was so badly crushed that the doctors jound found it necessary to amputate it just above the wrist the boy is about ten years of age he i is s getting along as well as could be expected under the circumstances death of missionary frank peterson a young missionary who has been laboring in the L D S mission field at denver colorado was suddenly taken ill with flu pneumonia pneumonia neu monia a and nd died his widowed moar mother was expecting him home at christmas time he labored in the field for twenty seven months his body was accompanied home by president woodruff and two elders who had labored in the field with elder peterson the funeral was held saturday morning about two hundred people were in attendance fifteen girls followed the remains carrying the many beautiful floral offerings the elders of wayne stake followed the girls the following sisters and brothers survive mrs airs belle allen alien mrs airs ester coleman one brother ernest pet erson erbon and his mother mrs airs hannah peterson local and personal sirs alice gulbranson and children dale ray and vem avem are here visiting mrs Gulbran sons mother mrs airs alonzo king miss grace king another daughter who has been in elsinore with her sister mrs airs gulbranson came home at the same time doran king who has been to the herd for the past ast summer has come home to spells spend christmas holidays mrs rae pace who became the victim of a stroke a few weeks ago was brought to her home in loa L oa she is bedfast her left side is badly affected she apparently is improving but very slowly mrs sadie pace returned home recently after an extended visit in brigham city salt lake and nampa idaho mrs naomi forsythe of grover who became ill friday of last week was rushed to the salina hospital hosp itai the same day mrs rebecca jones was ill last week reek but is better at this writing |
