| Show 10 0 AURORA by special correspondent 0 0 irene anderson laid to final rest funeral services sei vices were held at the city hall Mond monday ayat at 11 a in for mrs irene anderson who passed pl ased away at the salina hospital saturday evening following a long illness mrs anderson was taken sick about two weeks ago and on thursday she was vas taken to the hospital and everything that could be done for her by medical skill and loving hands was lone done but on saturday death relieved her from intense and patient suffering bishop ray mason took charge of the sen services vices the singing was furnished L dished lie d by the ward choir the opening number being 1 I need thee every hour legrande durfee offered the opening prayer followed by a duet sometime well understand the speakers were miss amy durfee and C al ivie both of whom spoke very highly of the de deceased ceaseL the choir rendered beautiful isle and parley sorensen pronounced the benediction mrs anderson was born bom september 21 1899 in this city and has spent her entire life here she was married in november 1915 to arnell amell anderson also of this city she was well loved and respected by all who knew her she is survived by her husband and the following children leonard age 10 douglas 6 laurence and lorin age 3 other survivors are her parents mr and mrs chas kennedy and the folloN following ving brothers and sisters earl arthur dee don lucille and leah kennedy mrs airs hazel curtis and mrs airs emma christensen of salt lake city the sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved family for the loss of a devoted mother and a faithful wife 1 further plans laid for cheese factory A meeting was held at the city hall tuesday at 3 p m to make further plans for the building of a cheese factory in this locality A mr I 1 ir ricks of the nelson ricks creamery co of salt lake city and C marquardson of elsinore were present at the meeting local conditions and possibilities were discussed and two building sites were submitted for consideration just which of the two will be chosen has not as yet been definitely decided upon mr air ricks returned to salt lake on wednesday to report port to his lake city returned to her home in sunday after spending two weeks here at the bed side of her daughter mrs airs mack black cloward who has been seriously ill mrs ann shepherd left wednesday for salt sal t lake where she underwent an operation and had bad one of her eyes yel removed noved mrs airs shepherds eye was injured some years ago by a breaking bottled bottle the injury was given immediate attention at that time and it was hoped that she would be able to retain the eye but last week it became necessary to remove the injured eye in order to save the other one which had become affected at after a two weeks visit to los angeles and other california places of interest mrs wilmath sorensen who has been seriously ill for the past two weeks is reported to be improving at the present time A large crowd of our young people motored to salina friday night to attend the ball game and dance they report having had a very enjoyable time |
