| Show 0 0 I 1 SOUTH SEVIER HIGH SCHOOL 1 0 0 foot ball banquet the football season for 23 was very appropriately closed by the annual banquet which was given friday november 23 in al M H S building faculty members patrons all team men and partners participated principal C A white acted as toast master for tho the evening between courses mibs aliss violet johnson sang two beautiful songs and mrs airs 0 A white entertained with a reading carnations both red and white representing the school colors formed tho the centerpiece immediately after the banquet everyone enjoyed dancing in the gym assembly tuesdays Ils assembly was given by f the senior class evidently they must have been busy with other duties that day because a number of t the parts disappeared at the eleventh 1 hour 1 u however miss aliss johnson played a piano solo and avery cry inspiring patriotic talk was war delivered by frank tuft barbara gardner gave a reading which was very fitting tor for educational cat ional week some freshman troubles were were taken up by maxine lewis assembly december 4 will bo be given by the M H S pep club girls another improvement impo to our school that has been contemplated tor for a number of years has at last reached completion shower baths have been built on the north side of the gamnis i turn aum in the place where formerly an i excavation had been made for a swimming pool the sophomore boys dug the trench for the drainage pipe and completed that part of the work in one day after the basket ball games this winter our boys as well as the visiting teams will enjoy the shower baths vi fi es linian N news bivs A freshman meeting was held november 19 in which assembly subjects of general interest were discus i sed these were I 1 1 the freshman class has been granted the privilege with consent of the faculty to liang hang their class banner on the south wall of the assembly hall 2 the freshman class is going to put on oil in the near future a humorous play entitled farm folks which will be amusing to both old and young i |
