Show alvin L robison native of new Y york ork state and one of the early pioneers of utah a man who made three trips across the plains twice with ox team and once with horses died here yesterday aged 88 he was born in 1834 and came to utah in 1854 he sett settled ledin in fillmore in the early days and subsequently left the state for a number of years later he be returned to utah and for 20 years year lie he lived at loa he is survived by his wife five sons and one daughter these are joseph green river henry and irwin loa ellis gainesville Caines ville frank and mrs J H sandall richfield sir mr robison although not a member of the dominant church had a host of friends and he was always ardent in his devotion to his adopted state A short service will be held at the residence but the date is not yet fixed fied interment will be at fillmore tho the county commissioners have been sitting as a board of equalization during the past week listening to complaints of erroneous and excessive assessments among those who appeared befog before the board was henry peter betenson Pe tenson n pt t richfield who protested against n sa t the e assessment of levied ag against st a half lot on the county road where the street is paved he dec declared lafed the lot to be worth not lot more than 50 5 0 commissioner joseph pet peterson asked aked the protestant if he would take 50 for the lot mr henry peterson replied that he would whereupon corn com J peterson pulled out a check made it for 50 payable to henry peterson and now henry is wondering whether or not he got the short end of the deal |
