Show NOTICE OF SPECIAL BOND D Y eliea TION TO lie BE HELD INI IN THE REDMOND DRAINAGE DISTRICT IN SEVIER COUNTY UTAH ON TIM THE esth DAY OF MAY 1920 PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GI GIVEN nr ET that a special election of the owners of 0 title or evidence of title to lands within the redmond drainage district has been and is hereby called by tho the board of county commissioners of sevier county utah which election shall be held on the ath day of may A D 1920 pursuant to the provisions 0 of the statutes 0 of the state of utah ther thereunto curito enabling for tho the purpose of submitting to owners of title or evidence of title to lo lands within said district tho the question of authorizing the issuance of the negotiable goti able coupon bonds of said district in the sum of tor for the purpose of 0 constructing drains drainage canals and other required improvements necessary to drain lands in said district and to conserve the public health and welfare thereof said bonds to run not less than five nor more than forty years and to bear interest payable semiannually semi somi annually at a rate not exceeding six per per annum that for the purpose of holding said election to determine Nh whether ether or not said bonds shall bo be authorized there shall be one voting precinct and one polling place which are hereby designated as follows the town I inal in the town of redmond in tho the county of sevier state of utah on the day of said election the polling place shall remain open from 7 A M until 7 P td the following persons have been appointed ta act as judges of said election at the following place to wit george A christensen joseph F peterson and anthony C at tho the polling place in the town hall in redmond town sevier county utah I 1 that at said election the electors ashall shall vote by ballot whereon shall be placed tho the words drainage bonds redmond Dr drainage inage district yes drainage district no and tho the electors shall indicate their choice by crossing out the words which do not express their choice and leaving the tha remaining words winch which do express their choice the said election shall be conducted as nearly as practicable in accordance with the general laws of 0 the state of utah this notice is given under tho the authority th arity of 0 the board of county commissioners ners of 0 sevier county utah this ath day of april A D 1920 1920 A D chairman board of county commissioners ners SEAL ATTEST j GEO M JONES county clerk by IRETA HANSEN deputy ag 13 NOTICE OV OP INTENTION TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT NO 2 notice is hereby given by the city council of tho the city of richfield ot of its intention nten tion to make the following improvement to wit that the proposed improvement is designated as street lighting dis thice no 2 and the improvement proposed is to install a line of iron or metallic light poles along each side of center street from main street to sixth east street i c D L R G depot together with the necessary globes and wire cable and ther other 0 equipment to conduct electricity for the purpose of lighting said street similar to the system installed on main street though perhaps re deuced in size and power the district benefited or affected thereby are lots 3 1 and 2 of blocks 2 and 3 plat C and lots I 1 and 2 of nf blocks 1 37 7 7 IS 38 39 and 40 of 0 plat A and lots 3 3 1 and nd 4 of blocks block 7 and 8 plat B and lots 3 and 4 of blocks 25 15 26 27 and 28 plat A that the said lighting district embraces the whole of the aforesaid lots and extends to the outer boundary of said lots that is to the center of each block on each side of said street from main street east to sixth east street str at as aforesaid the estimated cost of said improvement pro is 33 cents per trout front foot said cost and expense to be borne by the owners of the property abutting on and adjacent to said improvement and to be collected by local assessment ses against and upon said property said lights to be installed upon each side of center street the full distance aforesaid the city to bear the costs and expense of the intersections all protests and objections to the carrying out of such intention must be presented in writing to the city recorder on or before the irth day of april 1920 at 8 P td of said day being the timo time set by the city council when it will hear and consider such euch objections as may be made thereto by order of the city council of the city of richfield this day of march 1920 N C POULSON attest mayor LIZZIE HANSEN city recorder 14 |
