Show FOUNTAIN GREEN Mr. and Mrs. Royal Ivory spent a few days in Salt Lake this week as guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Livingston. - Airs. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Barenton, and" baby of Tooele are visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Barentson. Marjorie Guymon, entertained the following girls at a candy pull, Monday night, Evelyn Smyth, Beth Hanson. Ora Livingston, Dean Coombs, Athalie Johnson, Verla. Mikkelson, Melba Jensen, Jen-sen, Delia Rosquist and Edna Guymon. , Mr, and Mrs. Milton Oldroyd, entertained enter-tained at a dinner Saturday night for Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Anderson and Edith Allison. A few friends gave Mr. and Mr3. A. G. Anderson a surprise party Sunday night. The invited guests were, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Oldroyd, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Olson, Mr. and Mrs. Rees Holman and Edith Allison. On Thursday afternoon Mrs. Emma Seely was hostess to the G. B. Club. The afternoon was spent in sewing. An elaborate dinner was served. Edward Draper, age 67 died Saturday afternoon following a long illness of heart trouble. He leaves a wife and the following children, Ory and Everett and Mrs. Martha Edler, Mrs. Fannie Peterson, Agnes Oldroyd and Ethel Jackson. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 P. M. The choir sang Eternity. Invocation by, K. P. Jensen. A Duet "Caste Thy Bread Upon The Waters" by, J. J. Oldroyd and Lillian Coombs. The speakers were Niels Mikkelson, John Aagard of Provo, J. L. Nielsen and Bishop E. J. Johnson. Duet by, Lillian Coombs, and Lena Johnson, entitled "In The Upper Garden". Gar-den". Vocal Solo, "111 Go Where You Want Me To Go" by Joseph Robertson. The choir sang "Beyond." Benediction by, William Collard. Many beautiful flowers were given by friends and relatives of the family. The Junior Girls entertained their mothers at Mutual Tuesday night. A program was enjoyed and refreshments were served. The following went to Ephraim last week and enjoyed seeing the Snow College opera "Martha", Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson, Deneice Guymon, Lyda Guymon, Roy F. Millett, and Kate Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Roy F. Millet spent the week end at Mt. Pleasant. |
