Show FAIRVIEW More than 500 people attended the )-H character ball given by the old folks H committee in the amusement hall Sat- urday night. Many old fashioned, unique un-ique costumes were worn. Prizes were won as follows: Best pioneer costume. Howard Rigby went to Cashe Valley last week and purchased a carload ot Holstein dairy cows and calves. Twenty four of them were sold to Fairview residents. Four pure bred went to Chester and the rest went to Manti There were 34 in the carload ranging from young calves to 3 year olds. The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Mower died at their home, March 23, of hemmorage, surviving besides be-sides the parents are four sisters ana one brother. Interment was in the Fairview cemetary. Aristol White 18 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank White, of Burnt Fork died last week. Mrs. Clarence Turpin and Mrs. Lester Turpin went to attend the funeral at Burnt Fork. Besides the parents there are two sisters and four brothers survive. The young man died of heart trouble, following an operation. op-eration. Mr. and Mrs. White were formerly residents of Mt. Pleasant. A twelve pound baby boy was welcomed wel-comed by Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Richards Rich-ards last week. Mrs. Richards was formerly Miss Leona Cox of Fairview Mrs. Jesse Coombs is the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Mad-sen, Mad-sen, this week. |
