Show The fishing season is not far away and Commissioner Mecham again brings to the fisherman's attention at-tention state regulations governing the sport. Fishing is allowed in Utah be-' tween June 15 and October 31 .in most sections of the state. Hours for game fish are between 4 a. m and 9 p. m. Specific seasons through out the stae include Fish Lake, June 15 to October 20; Strawberry reservoir, reser-voir, Strawberry river above the reservoir res-ervoir up to Victory Highway bridge, Indian Creek, Horse Creek pond, July 1 to October 20. All othei tributaries of Strawberry reservoin are closed by law. Limits are restricted re-stricted to 10 pounds per day, or not to exceed thirty fish. Fish must not be less than 7 inches in length. The deer season is October 20 to 30. One male deer with horns not less than 5 inehes in length is the limit. Boys under 16 years of age are not permitted to hunt deer. Open season on pheasants, sage hens, pine hens, ruffed grouse, quail and mourning doves, with limits are declared later by the commissioner. |
