Show FAIRVIEW The Misses Cleone Lasson and Nuran Christensen at a dinner Saturday evening eve-ning at the Lasson home, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Christensen, who leave soon for California to make their home. The guests were seated at one long table which was covered with lace cloth over yellow. This was centered with a basket of French marigolds mar-igolds in various shades of orange and yellow. The place cards were marked for Mr. and Mrs. Ted Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Swan, Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Golden Sander-'son, Sander-'son, Mr. and Mrs. Winston Mower, Mr. Oscar Pherson, Mr. Dougal Young, Mr. Byrant Young and the hostess. Funeral services for Lindsay P. Brady !, were held in the North Ward chapel j Friday. Bishop Henry Jones presiding : Music was by the combined ward choirs witn solos by Mrs. George i1'. Olson and . Jesse L. Young. Prayers were by Al- ! bert Stewart and A. L. Carlston. j Speakers who paid glowing tributes of j honor to his memory were Peter Petersen Peter-sen Fred Danielson, Archie H. Andersen Ander-sen and A. U. Miner with closing remarks re-marks by Bishop Jones. Flowers were profuse and beautiful. Interment was 'in the Fairview City Cemetary, where A. L. Carlston dedicated the grave. Lindsay P. Brady, the son of Rach-ael Rach-ael and Warren P. Brady, was born at 'Fairview February 15, 1868. He married mar-ried Miss Lena Larsen November 10. 1387. They had seven children three of whom servive him. He was a faithful Latter Day Saint and held many j positions both religious and Civic j He was County Commissioner of San-: pete County for eight years. He has had sickness in his family for the past twenty five years. He has been in poor health for several years past but he was always cheerful and never complained. com-plained. It was said of him at the funeral that he was the acme of patience. pat-ience. His wife is still an invalid. His wife, three children and one grandchild grand-child survive him. He also leaves many friends and relatives to mourn 'his loss. ' Relatives from Salt Lake, Provo, Tooele, To-oele, Seattle Washington, Duchesne, Rigby, Idaho, Mt. Pleasant came to attend the funeral. Mr. and Mrs. Que Tucker report the birth of a baby girl at their home this week and Mr. and Mrs. Russel Madsen report the birth of a baby girl. Mrs. ivaaasen was iuiiucn,y, ivxiao Christensen. A baby girl is announce at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Evan Cox, September 19th. i Mrs. Ed Swanson is visiting at the ; home of her mother, Mrs. L. P. Brady. Mrs. Sarah Titcomb, of Salt Lake i visited relatives here last week. ' Mrs. , Martha Bird of Rigby Idaho f spent the week with Fairview relatives, i ' Mr. and Mrs. Elias Brady of Dusch- j eyne came to attend the funeral of L. j P. Brady. ' |
