Show American Fork gg ik Is Booming Shipment of 2,200 cases of eggs from American Fork last week smashed all records of the year. Three carloads went out from the association, three from A. W. Pulley Pull-ey and Sons, and four from Nye and Nissen. In addition to these car load freight shipments, express and truck lots were disposed of but not checked on. At the average of $12.50 net per case being realized by producers, which is conservative, this week's eggs will bring $27,500. In many cases poultrymen with small flocks are netting $100 per week, over feed costs and the larger larg-er successful producers have been netting several times this amount. Prospects for the coming year are very good. Advance information informa-tion on baby chick orders indicates indi-cates that from three to five times aa many baby chicks will be purchased pur-chased here this spring as last. |
