Show Boy Scouts Have Charge of Two School Assemblies Boy Scout Troop, number 82, of Wasatch academy had charge of two school assembly periods as a part of their observance of Bo;' Scout week. Mr. Joseph A. Poncel. scoutmaster, devoted one period to a discussion of the history and purpose of scouting. The following follow-ing scouts had charge of the other assembly: William Swain, William Robinson, Keith Chastain, Bill Ellis, El-lis, Jack Tonilinson, Shinichi Azu-ma Azu-ma and Owen Davis. The beys demonstrated proper treatment of the flag, the tying of knots, bandaging ban-daging of wounds and other types of first aid. The local troop has two patrols, the Fox and the Eagle, at the present time. The adult committee commit-tee consists of W. K. Throndson, chairman, Ernest G. Brunger and Edwin Mercer Johnston. Joseph A. Poncel is the scoutmaster, and Ed. Johnston is assistant scoutmaster. |
