Show j MORONI By Special Correspondence Mrs. Urvin Gee was very pleasantly pleas-antly surprised by her Mutual class of Gleaner girls Monday evening eve-ning of last week. A chicken supper sup-per was enjoyed by the following: The Misses Mary Christensen, Lu-cile Lu-cile Cahoon, Mary Hansen, Eddis Elackham, Elaine Gee, Neva Jensen, Jen-sen, Rula Tidwell, Julia Black-ham, Black-ham, Delia Sorensen, Owen Black-ham, Black-ham, Sadie Little and their class teachers, Mrs. Gee and Mrs. Cleou Anderson. Games and singing were the evening's entertainment. Mrs. Gee has resigned from teaching teach-ing in the Mutual. Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Syme of Magna visited relatives and friends in Moroni last week. Mrs. James Hardy recently returned re-turned home from Provo where she visited for two weeks with her mother, Mrs. Sarah J. Davis. Mrs. Viola Syme is visiting with relatives in Magna. The Moroni high school is putting put-ting in a lot of woi k on their opera, "The Southern Lady" with the following cast: John Endicot, Udell Anderson; Mary Ann, Atho-lie Atho-lie Johnson; Herbert, Cliff Anderson; Ander-son; Nancy, Maxlne Anderson; Colonel Waverly, Dale Tidwell, Horace Ferguson, Mont Kellett-Mr. Kellett-Mr. Courtney, Murray Robertson! Mrs. Courtney, Ellen Anderson; Liza, Violet Thomas; Fanchon', Lucile Cahoon; Sheriff, Jack Davis: Dav-is: Tedd, Euray Larsen; BiU, Em-mert Em-mert Draper, Downs, W?lby Aa-gard; Aa-gard; Jeane, Tess Tidwell. The cast will be assisted by a chorus of one hundred voices and forty members in the orchestra. This opera, under the direction of Pay Anderson, music teacher, will be presented in the near future. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Prestwich announce the marriage of their son, Glen, to Miss Blanche Rosenlof, Rosen-lof, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Rosenlof of Mt. Pleasant, Wednesday, December 14. Tho young couple wili make their home in Moroni. Their many friends wish them success and happiness. Cleon Anderson and L.U. Christensen Chris-tensen made a business trip to Salt Lake City last week. |
