Mr. and Mrs. Lindon Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Madsen of Payson, Mr. and Mrs. Truman Hall of Santaquin, Mr. and Mrs. Lafe Morley, Mrs. Blanche. Irons and daughter Iris, Bill Walker and Miss Inezel Cahoon of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Clark and Mrs. Hans Rasmussen, of Pleasant Grove, Mr. and Mrs. Lavell Johnson of Duscheyne, Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Gowers and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ockie of Nephi all spent the holidays in Moroni visiting relatives and friends. dive Hansen has returned home from the sugar factory in Wyoming Wyo-ming vhere he has been employed by the TUh-Idaho Sugar Co. Mr. and Mrj. Dan Anderson and family of Provo visited in Moroni and Wales last week. Mrs. Ace Blackham and Mrs. Earl Blackham visited relatives in Fountain Greact during thj hoh-d-' vs. The dances during the Christmas Christ-mas holidays all proved to be successful. Mrs. Cleon Anderson and Mrs. Rodney Anderson attended the funeral of Mrs. Fred W. Tuttle at Manti Saturday. Buhl Draper has returned hopje after visiting in Spanish Fork with his sister, Mrs. Arthur Boyack. Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Peterson announce the marriage of their daughter, Daluth, to Reive Norman of Fairview. They were married Wednesday, December 28. Their many friends wish them success and happiness. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bruno spent Christmas day in Provo with relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Cleon Anderson and son, Jack left Tuesday to spend a few days with relatives in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Gene Despain and Mrs. Ophelia Rhodes entertained the Sorosis club Thursday afternoon at the home of the latter. Twelve members were present and refreshments re-freshments were served. A social hour was enjoyed. Mrs. Arthur Boyack of Spanish Fork and Mrs. Pratt Peterson of Provo are visiting relatives in Moroni. Mo-roni. There was a great deal of excitement ex-citement in Moroni Thursday night. The city marshal had a prisoner in the city jail who was intoxicated. After the marshal had gone the prisoner set fire to the bed clothes and if help had not arrived just when it did the prisoner pris-oner would have smothered. |
