Mrs. Marvin Anderson entertained enter-tained fifteen little friends of her son Harris Wednesday afternoon the occassion being his birthday. An article from the State Federation concerning concern-ing the planting of trees was given by Mrs. Ellis Draper. Mrs. Marvin Anderson, Mrs. Morgan Lamb and Mrs. Cleon Anderson were appointed appoint-ed as a committee to arrange for trees to be planted by the club this spring. Mrs. Lewis Blackham and Mrs. Lloyd Blackham were the hostesses hos-tesses and served luncheon to the following members: Mrs. Joe Prest-wich, Prest-wich, Mrs. Mert Draper, Mrs. Morgan Mor-gan Lamb, Mrs. Gene Despain, Mrs. John R. Blackham, Mrs. Blaine Draper, Mrs. Ernest Blackham, Mrs.' Marvin Anderson, Mrs. Mozart Mo-zart Larsen, Mrs. Ray Anderson. Mrs. Ellis Draper, Mrs. Ophelii Rhodes, Mrs. E. W. Stuck! and Mrs. Cleon Anderson. Mrs. John Blackham has returned return-ed home after spending the winter in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Marvel Carter of Mona is visiting relatives and friends in Moroni this week. The East ward primary conference was held Sunday afternoon. Song, "O How Lovely Was the Morning," Primary children; "A Book of God," Elaine Draper; musical reading, "Christ and His Little Ones," Mrs. P. J. Draper Jr.; "This Is the Place," Dora Nielson; song, "This Is the Place," Primary children: "Who's On the Lord's Side.e Who," Primary children; "Who's On the Lord's side Who," Ella Bradley; "Shall the Youth oi Zion Falter," Grant Olsen. Stake officers Mrs. Ivory and Mrs. Anderson Ander-son gave short talks; short talk, Bishop Elmo Irons; closing song, "True to the Faith;" prayer, Mrs. John Irons. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Olsen of Magna Mag-na are visiting relatives in Moroni and Wales this week. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Blackham an-, nounce the birth of a baby boy at their home. A basketball game was played in the High School gym Friday night vith Gunnison. Moroni was again successful. Mr. and Mrs. Mozart Larsen and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Anderson were guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Peterson Peter-son at Spring City Tuesday night. The West ward held their Primary Pri-mary conference Sunday afternoon in the ward chapel with the following follow-ing program: Snow Bird Song, first and second groups; Memory 5rm, Woodrow Stucki; poem, Sher-cn Sher-cn Seely; "Our Bishop," Kenneth Christensen. Short talks on the hundreth anniversary of Joseph Smith's first vision were given by Primary children. Singing, "Christ and His Little Ones," Mrs. Lillian Sorensen. Mrs. Ivory and Mrs. Hclman, Stake officers from Fountain Foun-tain Green, gave short talks. A Shrot talk was given by Bishop Nelson. A very large attendance was present. Mr. and Mrs. I. M. Felt ol Mounds, Utah, are visiting with Mr and Mrs. Rodney Anderson this week. They are enroute to Los Angeles, California. |
