Show I I MORONI i 1W Special Correspondence Funeral services for Mrs Aim-i Cnrollno Yorgcnsen Curtis, wile o Joseph Curtis, were held Monday presld"ghUP Jh" R ,B1-kh- The choir sang, "Resting Now I'nlV VJrt; "nd Sor'w" and "Abide With Me. Prayers were offered by Mathi-as Mathi-as Allied of Fountain Green and James Larson of Moroni. The speakers were: Frank Hansen, Han-sen, Bishop Ephrnim Nelson, Elmo Irons, Orlando Bradley and Bish, op John R. Bluckham. A quartette, "Lead Me Gently Home Father," was rendered by Mozart Larson and company; p. duet, "In the Upper Garden" 'was given by Mrs. P. J. Draper and Mrs. Elmo Irons. Mrs. Curtis was born in Moroni April 18, 1863. She was the mother mo-ther of ten children. Beside:, her husband she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Ross Dyches, Mrs. Hattie Ames, Melvia Niel, Clarence, Newel and Holly Curtis, all of Moroni, also the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Scott Bruno, Mrs. Parley Draper Sr. and Lawrence Lan;en of Moroni, Mrs. Peter Jacobson oi Provo and James Larsen of Buhl, Idaho; twenty grandchildren and two gTeat grandchildren. East ward Primary held their annual home coming Wednesday nnght of last wefk. A good crowd was in attendance and each group of children rendered their parts well. Miss Vonda Harris of Ephraim was a guest of Miss Saddie Little last week. Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson announce the birth of a baby girl at their home A bundle shower in honor of Mrs. Orris Sudweeks was given at the horns of her mother, Mrs. John Rostron Thursday evening. She was presented with many beautiful and useful Rifts. 35 guests were present. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. Mrs. Sudweeks Sud-weeks was formerly Miss Hazei Larsen. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Larsen. of Salt Lake City are visiting relatives rela-tives in Moroni and are guests of Mr. and Msr. Lawrence Larsen Mr. and Mrs. Elden Van Buren of Castle nale were guests last week of Mrs. Van Buren's parents1 Mr. and Mr. Oscar Hansen. Her brother, Niel accompanied them home and will attend school there this winter. Miss Theo Ericksen has gone to Los Angeles, California, where she will attend chool. She is with her brother Reese. Mrs. James Prestwich was among the Salt Lake visitors last week. |
