Show Funeral Held For ' William Edward Fowles Funeral services were . held Sunday at 3 p. m. from the North ward chapel, ,for William Edward Fowles, who died in " a Salt Lake hospital Friday, as a result of an accidental shooting at Delta last week. Bishop Henry P. Olson was in charge. Bishop A. L. Peterson, C. W. Sorenson and Bishop Henry P. Olson were the speakers. Musical Musi-cal numbers were by the choir: solo. Jay Hafen; vocal duet, Mrs. Opal Scovil and Miss Pearl Lar-sen. Lar-sen. Bishop James Larsen dedicated dedi-cated the grave. William Edward Fowles was born in Mt. Pleasant, June 19, 18-78, 18-78, a son of John and Lena Fowles. He was married to Miss Carrie Gunderson of this city in 1898. The family moved to Delta in 1920 Surviving are his widow and the following children: Eleanor, Leo. Earl. Vern and Ruby' Fowles, Mrs. Silencer Colley all of Delta; Irvin Fowles, Salt Lake City: Mrs. Jessie Sanders, Nephi; also the following brothers and sisters. John H. Fowles, Mrs. William Winkler, Wilford Winkler," Mount Pleasant: Mrs. Mary Jones, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Leah Jensen, Redmond, and Montel Winkler, Sprln? City. |
