Show MINER KILLED WHEN I MOTOR FALLS CN BOARDING HOUSE Two Others Hurt When Building Is Wrecked John Berkatis, 33, a Miner was killed and two others were injured last Friday afternoon when a large lar-ge motor tumbled down the incline inc-line from the shops of the Ohio Copper Plant at Copperfield and landed on a bed where Berkatis was reciining, in the second story of the Tulo Boarding House. Mrs. Tulo and Bill Soundtras were injured by the flying wreckage wreck-age when the niotoh smushed Us way through the wall and landed on the bed where Berkatis lay. Five other persons including three small children were on the second floor of the building when the crash came. Fortunately these people all escaped' injury. Berkatis was unmarried and had been a resident of the district dist-rict for several years. Funeral arrangements were not completed as yet. |
