At the present time they are living at Standardville. The mother was formerly Miss Ona Reese of Wales. Don Nielson and Miss Beth Bradley Brad-ley of Moroni surprised their friends last week when they were married. All their many friends wish them future happiness and success. Word was received here Sundaj night of the death of J. W. Jackson of Provo. He has. been in ill health for several years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lyda Jackson. Mr. Jackson has a host of friends and relatives in Fountain Green. Funeral Fun-eral services will be held Friday at Provo. ! Funeral services were held Feb-, Feb-, ruary 25th at 2 p. m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Fredrlcksen. for the six weeks old baby boy of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Mower. Death occurred at Soldier Summit and the body was brought here foi burial. , The choir sang , 'Sometimes We'll Understand," and "Shall We Meet Beyond the River;" duet, "My Father Fa-ther Knows," Lena Johnson and Lilian Lil-ian Coombs. Prayers were offered by Pres. E. J. Johnson, and Presi-deent Presi-deent James L. Neilson. The. speakers were William Collard and Niels E. Mikkelson. Norma Robertson has been visiting visit-ing for some time at Fairview and will reman there indefinitely. Pres. James L. Neilson was asked by the Snow College to furnish th Washington Birthday assembly. Mrs. W. K. Seager gave two readings, read-ings, "Florette" and "Tillie's Twins" and Mrs. Jos. R. Christiansen sang "The Flag Without a Stain" and 'Out of the Dusk." Pres. Neilson 'gave an excellent talk. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Candland have returned home after visiting here for a few days with Mrs. Cand-land's Cand-land's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Les-ter Holman. The Sons and Daughters- of the Pioneers presented the play, "Pocahontas" "Poc-ahontas" on Friday afternoon and evening. The play was followed by a successful dance. |
