Show Future Farmers Win More Honors Mr. L. R. Humphreys, state supervisor super-visor of Agricultural Education, recently re-cently announced the results of the state medal contests for "Excellence "Excel-lence in vocational agriculture projects pro-jects for 1928-1929." Three N. S. boys, the only local boys entered, are in the list of winners. win-ners. Heading the list is Jay Win-kolman, Win-kolman, winner of the sweep stake sold medal for first place of all projects of the state. Chad Cox of Fairview won the bronze medal, third place in Swino projects. Clair Aldrich is awarded 100 blby r-hicks by the Manti Apex Hatchery ' for his turkey project of last ye-.r. This sneaks well for the lo-.al Future Farmers when we consider that there were only 30 medals given giv-en and more than 1800 ag. boys in 31 high schools of Utah. Clair's prie vas one of eleven given for poultry projects. |
