Show Monday night meeting was well at- : tended by active Legionnaries. The ! usual business routine was followed out , and several matters of importance were discussed. It was decided to stage one more boxing bout this spring if a suitable suit-able opponent could be obtained for Earl I Kid) Beck, and we are already after one of Sevier County's best fighters, fight-ers, Mr. Ivie who hails from Scipio and who has been fighting for Salina Post , No. 26 a great deal this winter and has been showing up exceptionally well. We believe if we can be fortunate in matching Ivie up with Beck that they will give us one of the best fights ever staged in this county. At the Legion convention in Spmish Fork a few months ago. Salina Post I challenged us to a memDership race j We were a little reluctant in accept jig ; this challenge as we were having soine- j what of a struggle at that time in commencing com-mencing a new year, but Commander 1 t'Ed" got up and did his stuff anyw&yj and said "we'd take'em on New we j need but 6 more members to win, and ve will be asking Salina to furnish us l 'with the nice big "feed", so come cn m you old comrades, we can use all of you, but we need six of you at once.
