At this meeting it was learned that the State was ready to begin active construction work on the paving project a. iked for by Spring City of the city and county were ready with their share of the cost of construction. Spring City's share as set fourth by the state being $5,00(1. i The total cost of building the .79 of a anile being about $35,000. i When the matter of raising the money required was referred to the city council of Spring City, they decided de-cided to raise the amount required through an emergercy loan. . The contract provides for an 13 ft. strip of paving with the grading extending ex-tending from gutter to gutter. The Mutual Improvement organizations organiza-tions are reporting splendid success in handling the new course of study prepared pre-pared for April and May. More than one hundred twenty five i young people enrolled for various classes on the opening night. Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Allred have a new baby boy at their home. Quite a number of Spring City people attended conference at Salt LakJ city among those who were in attendance were: Bishop Samuel Allred, who has not missed a cornerence for a good many years, John S. Blain, Ida Blain, and James F. Ellis. The week beginning, Monday, April 16, has been set apart as "Paint Up, Clean Up Week". The people are urged ur-ged to get back of this movement and make an attempt to beautify their own premises. Saturday, April 14, will be used by the citizens as street clean ira Day.
