Show I FOUNTAIN GREEN Fountain Green .Makes Improvements Fountain Green has graveled twenty blocks of the streets and also the drive ways at the cemetery during the past few weeks. This with the 18 blocks graveled last year makes it possible to get to any part of the city in bad weather. The school grounds have been prepared pre-pared for the planting of shrubs and (lowers. , The following people attended conference con-ference at Salt Lake last week. Bishop and Mrs. E. J. Johnson, J. L. Nielson, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Will Collard, Lyda Guyman, My-rum My-rum Lund, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Livingston, Living-ston, Ruby Ivory and Lillian Ivory. Mrs. "Lewis Anderson and baby of Mc Gill Nevada are visiting with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Will Ray Jensn. Mr. and Mrs. Elvid Williams of Cedar City spent a few hours visiting her mother Mrs. C. J. Christensen on their return from Salt Lake, Monday. Mrs Ray Holman entertained the following members of the Elite Club at a quilting and supper Saturday after noon for, Lillie Oldroyd. Cleo Nielson, Ada Anderson, Retta Jensen, Lillian Coombs, Jennie Anderson, Edith Cook and Martha Edler. The afternoon and evening was enjoyed by all. - Mr. and Mrs. Osmond Crowther, Mr. and Mrs. Fred D. Smythe and Edward (Johnson returned from California this week. Mrs. J. C. Jensen is very ill at this time with pneumonia. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Allred of Center-field Center-field spent Easter Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Allied. Mrs. Eraia Jones of Mt. Pleasant is visiting with her mother Mrs. George 'Green. The following people attended the funeral services for Jesse Stringham at Salt T,ake City. Monday, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Allred and family, Burton Holmm and family, Mr. and Mrs. Milton O' 1 royd Lena Johnson, Delpha Allred, Deneice Guymon, Arthur G. Anderson Lyman Seely, Ernest Nielson, George W Ivory, Sam Coulson and Harry Holman. A very large funeral was held at the Mc Kinley ward chapel at Salt Lake, Interment was at the Midvale cemetary The floral offerings were profuse and beautiful. Jesse Stringham married, Ruby Allred Al-lred of Fountain Green, September 1, 1925. They have a baby about 2 years of age.. Mr. Stringham was well known and liked by all who knew him. |
