Show Board of Education 7. Adopts New Budget her. The North Sanpete district mj! Board of Education met at the high school Friday evening and adopted the budget for 1931 and 1932. Several interested tax payers were present and some lively discussion was evidenced. The board expressed ex-pressed appreciation for suggestions sugges-tions made by those present. The budget as passed calls for $140,669. for operation and .maintenance .main-tenance of schools as compared with $159,765 for 1930-31. The debt service, which includes interest on bonds and sinking fund Is $19,550, as compared with $29,-100 $29,-100 for the past school year. Tne uoard plans to redeem $10,-000 $10,-000 of bonds each year. The board authorized the clerk to ask for bids for repair work to be done on buildings of the district, dis-trict, during the summer, some of which are: composition roof on. the Fairview grade school building and North Sanpete high school gymnasium; shingle or composition roof on Spring City, and Fountain Green elementary buildings; painting paint-ing of North Sanpete high school. |
