Show Mrs. H.P. Ericksen Dies In Idaho Christian Ericksen received word Tuesday of the death of his mother, Mrs. Anna Madsen Ericksen, wife of the late Hans P. Ericksen, at Hamer, Idaho, that morning. Mrs. Ericksen was born in Denmark April 2nd, 1846, daughter of Ole and Anna Madsen. She with her mother came to Utah while she was yet a young girl. Her father died on the plains, enroute to Utah. She was married to Hans P. Ericksen Erick-sen April 4, 1865. The young couple moved to Nebraska Nebras-ka where they lived for a number of years and then returned to this city. Her husband died in December 1928. She fell at her home in July 1928. suffering a fractured hip from which she has never fully recovered. Two months ago she went to Idaho to live with her youngest son, Leonard, Leon-ard, at whose home she died. Surviving are her two sons, Christian Chris-tian Ericksen, Mount Pleasant; Leonard Leon-ard Ericksen, Hamer, Idaho; a sister, Mrs. Martin Aldrich, this city; a brother, Andrew Madsen, Spring City; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements have not been made. The body will be brought here for services and interment. |
