Show r- I MORONI I By Special Corespondence i Jack Holt in ' 'Court Martial" will be shown Sunday and Monday at the Kozy Theatre, September 8th and 9th. It is a big special production. A bundle shower for Mrs. Francis Rasmussen was given at the home of her mother, Mrs. D. C. Nelson, Thursday Thurs-day evening. The honor guest received re-ceived many beautiful and useful gifts. Fifty guests were present. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. Mrs. Matilda Blackham is home again after spending the summer with her children in Salt Lake City and Genola. Mr. and Mrs. ohn R. Blackham and Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Anderson are in Los Angeles, California visiting with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Edgel Blackham and Mr. and Mrs. Truman Anderson. The class leaders and officers of the Relief Societies of both wards attended attend-ed the convention at Mount Pleasant last Tuesday. Announcement is made by Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hardy of the marriage of their daughter Bernadean to James Meyrick, Jr. of Mount Pleasant. A '. bundle shower in their honor was given, giv-en, Monday evening at the home of the bride's parents. Many gifts were given them by their relatives and friends. Refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Mozart Larsen and family have recently returned from a trip to Castle Valley. Moroni was well represented at the Mothers and Daughters outing of the Moroni Stake held at Fountain Green FS lay afternooii Mr. and Mrs. James Prestwich have recently returned from . a trip to Bryce's Canyon and Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Syme and family of McGill, Nevada, are visiting relatives rela-tives and friends in Moroni this week. Mrs. Winward Tanner of Salt Lake City is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ern-est Blackham this weekend. The Sorosis club and their husbands held their last outing Saturday evening. eve-ning. Supper was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Prestwich, after which all enjoyed the Lions club dance at Fountain Green. Those present were Mr. and Mrs, Ellis Dra per, Mr. and Mrs. James Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Prestwich, Mrs. Blaine Draper, Mrs. John Irons, Mr. and Mrs. Mert Draper, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Morley, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Blackham, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Lamb. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Norfleet of Logan Log-an were guests of Mr. and Mrs. 'James Hardy last weekend. Misses Inezell and Erdla Cahoon of Salt Lake City were Moroni visitors this week. Mr. and Mrs. Lavall Johnson of Duchesne, Utah, were visiting relatives rela-tives and friends in Moroni and Fountain Green last week. |
