Show I FAIRVIEW f i By Special Correspondence Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Shepherd announce the arrival of a ten pound baby girl December 26th. Mrs. Shepherd was formerly Miss Crystal Cheney. Mrs. Sarah E. Fowles of Salt Lake City spent the holidays with relatives and friends here. Miss Verena Graham and Miss Beryl Larsen came home to spend the holidays. On Saturday evening a house party was held at the home ol Ruby James. The following! were present: Ivy Peterson, Faye Rigby, Betty Sundwall, Helen Miner, Eathel Lassen, Lavon Mad-sen, Mad-sen, Ruby James, Norma Peterson, Nora Bench, Reed Lasson, Golden Cariston, Winston Sanderson Lloyd Madsen, Owen Westenskow, Wallace Madsen, Mr. Cox, Ellis Graham, Morris Rasmussen, Dana James and the hostess. Games, music and luncheon, were enjoyed after which they attended the dance. Bishop and Mrs. Peter Nielson entertained January 6 at a birthday birth-day anniversary in honor of Mr. Otis L. Terry's 8Cth birthday. Dinner was served to over thirty relatives and friends, and a social afternoon was enjoyed. Mr. Terry is a pioneer of Fairview but has made his home at Provo for a number of years. He is spending the winter with his daughter, Mrs. Nielson. Artie U. Miner spent the past week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs A. U. Miner. Mr. Ralph Jorgensen of Ephraim was the guest of Miss Thelma Tur-pin Tur-pin the past week end. Mrs. George Day entertained 30 relatives on Thursday at her home Dinner was sarved and a radio program was much enjoyed. Mrs. A. U. Miner entertained at a New Year's dinner for a number num-ber of relatives. The Fairview Poultry association associa-tion reorganized Wednesday evening eve-ning with the following officers: president, Reed Peterson; vice-president, vice-president, Hugh Anderson; secretary-treasurer, Bishop H. P. Hansen; Han-sen; members of the executive board, E. H. Anderson and Hyrum Mower. |
