A most enteresting and instructive instruc-tive program was enjoyed Sunday evening when Moroni East Ward and Fountain Green Ward M. S. A. exchanged programs. Their subject was "Eternal Progression" and was very well treated. Melpha and Evelyn Augason entertained at a card party Wednesday Wed-nesday evening at their parents home. The evening was spent in playing court whist. High score lady was Alice Smyth, taking the first prize. Consolation prize was won by Winifred Cook. The Christmas season was manifested man-ifested in both refreshments and decorations. Twenty guests were present. Last week the Gloom Busters club met at the home of Dorothy Oldroyd where a delightful afternoon after-noon was spent. Radio music was enjoyed and a delicious hot dinner din-ner was served. A most delightful time was enjoyed en-joyed last Wednesday evening 13 PPH JTOU.0 PXEM 3V(l U.3U.M party for all choir members with their partners at the city community com-munity hall. A lovely program was rendered after which most lively games were played. Dancing Danc-ing followed after which delicious refreshments were served. The entire crowd then proceeded to the amusement hall where a dance for the public was held, and. a good number were in attendance New Year's eve was a very lively one at the amusement hall where one of the largest dances ever held in our city was enjoyed by both old and young. Every dance and party held during the holidays was a large success and with ideal weather and good health prevailing in our community, the holidays were enjoyed en-joyed by everyone. Now that schools have started everyone is back to their daily routine of work again. |
