Show Snow College Notes Sigma Delta Chi Makes Plans for the Year The. Sigma Delta Chi club met in its first regular meeting and made tentative plans for the year's activity. In harmony with the aim of the club which is to foster dramatics in Snow College for the year, the club decided to sponsor special readings and one act plays interpreted by cluo members. Reading of three act plays will be given by the dramatic drama-tic coaches oi the various schools. The club also plans on furnishin:; programs to the high schools of the county. Reese Anderson of Mt. Pleasant is president; Zoe Jensen of Ephraim, Eph-raim, vice president: Louise Mat-son Mat-son of Mt. Pleasant, secretary and treasurer: Miss Helen A. Nelson of the Snow College speech department de-partment is club advisor. Freshmen Officers Elected The following class officers were elected in the Frehmen clas'j meeting Monday: Melba Harrx-n, vice president; Naomi Nordgreen, secretary and treasurer; Virginia Isbell, yell master; Donna Bagley, Merrill Anderson, Guy Leonard, activity committee; and Professor.; Frances Gurney and Helen A. Nelson, Nel-son, advisors. Dean Peterson was elected president two weeks ago. Sophomores Prepare For Founders' Uu The Sophomore class met Monday Mon-day and made plans for the annual an-nual Snow College Founders' Day parade which will b November 6. Eugene Peterson. Ina Hunt and Maihen Chnstensen were selected as members of the committee to plan and prepare the float and 1 1 superintend the preparations for the -iay. A Sophomore class song contesi was instigated. A cash prize will be given to the tudent who composes com-poses the bst sorg. The purpose of the contest is to provide a number num-ber of fitting sones for ".he class to feature in the Founders' Day parade. Professor W. G. Earton was selected as social advisor and 'Fio:. H.
