Show 3 Burglaries Are Committed Three burglaries were perpetuated perpetu-ated in this city Tuesday evening to the consternation of officers and citizens alike. Between midnight and 2am the general merchandise establishment estab-lishment of O. M. Aldrich and Sons was entered by prying off iron bars from a rear window and removing the window. About $15U worth of merchandise was taken including shoes, socks, blankets, sheepskin coats, caps handkerchiefs, also what change was in the register. Nightwatclmian W. K. Peterson hearing noises in the .building shortly before 2 a. m. went to the rear of the Building to iind the window removed; he hurried tc the next door, the home of A. D. Christensen asking him to assist in searching the building. Mr. Christensm guarded the rear door while O. M. Aldrich, Bert E. Peterson Pe-terson and the night, watchman, searched the building. A sedan car belonging tc- Leslie Lund of Fairview, stored at the Bittle-Madsen garage was stolen as well as all the gasoline from other cars stored in that building At the beet dump north of this city scales and tools valued at $150 were appropriated the same night |
