Show Funeral Held for Mrs. H. Tidwell Mrs. Antomina Omen Tidwell, widow of the late Harvey Tidwell. I died at the home of her daughter, .Mrs. Vernon Brotherson, Sunday fol-; fol-; lowing a paralytic stroke tha day previous. pre-vious. Mrs. Tidwell had her first stroke 'some three years ago and had been in Ipoor health ever since. She had, however, how-ever, been much better recently and was feeling fine when she retired Fri-iday Fri-iday evening. The stroke came on 'during that night rendering her unconscious, un-conscious, from which condition she never rallied. She lost her speech two years ago, but had been very patient through her affliction. She was born August 4, 1871 in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of August and Ann Elisabeth Johnson Omen. She was married January 6. 1886 to Harvey Tidwell, in this city and their homo has always been here. Her husband died July 29 of this '.'ear. Surviving are the following children, Andrew, Arthur and Kenneth Tidwell. Tid-well. Mrs. Delia Christensen and Mrs. Vernon Brotherson, of Mt. Pleasant; Shirley Tidwell. Salt Lake City. Also nine grandchildren and the following brother: Aaron Omen, Castle Dale; W'Piaw and James Omen, Boneta; Andrew and Dan Omen, Price. Impressive funeral services were held for Mrs. Antomina Oman Tidwell, from the South ward chapel, Wednesday Wednes-day at 2 P. M. with Bishop A. L. Peterson Peter-son in charge. Music was by the choir; violin and piano selection, Chrystal and Lucille Hansen: Vocal solo, Mrs. Obed Nelson. C. W. Sorenson, Prest. S. M. Nielson, and Bishop Peterson were the speakers. speak-ers. Bishop James Larsen dedicated the flower covered grave. |
