The following students and teachers were home for the Thanksgiving vacation: va-cation: Monte Robertson from the a. C. at Logan, Conrad Aagard, Frank Jorgensen and Euray Allred from the B. Y. U. at Provo, Miss Deon Allred, Victoria Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Or-land Or-land Augason. Mrs. Lucile Kent and two children, and Elverda Anderson of Salt Lake City spent last week end here. Mrs. J. T. Oldroyd and children, Mr. and Mrs. Rube Ivory of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Rachal Aagard and Joy Aagard of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Booth Sore,n-son Sore,n-son of Lehi, Mr. and Mrs. George H. Hanson of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Crawford Craw-ford of Bingham, Utah; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Jacobsen of Provo spent Thanksgiving Thanks-giving here with relations. Mrs. Caroline Larson was hostess at a turkey supper given for the members of the Social Hour Club. Covers were laid for the following: Mrs. Emil Hanson, Mrs. Antone Frandson, Mrs. Amon Hansen, Mrs. Will Sorenson, Mrs. Charles Allred, Mrs. Hyrum Jacobson, Mrs. Mary A. Mikkelson and Rena Crowther. H. P. Olson, Mrs. Lawrence Olson. Eldon Olson, Lars Nielson, Pres. J. L. Nielson, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Livingston, Mrs. George W. Ivory, Mrs. Royal Ivory, Mr. and Mrs. Fred D. Smyth, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Livingston of Salt Lake City attended the funeral services serv-ices of Niels Anderson at Ephraun Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Eliza J. Coombs spent last week at Manti visiting her son, W. M. Coombs and family. Paul Jacobsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Jacobson of Provo. left last week to fulfill a mission to the Eastern States Mission. Grant Nielson, Booth Cook, Irvin Coombs and Max Livingston are attending at-tending the winter quarter at Snow College at Ephraim. Roy F. Millett and family spent last week end at Pleasant Grove and Salt Lake City. The members of the G. B. Club entertained their husbands at a party Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Royal Ivory. Games and radio music were enjoyed. A delightful delight-ful luncheon was served to the following follow-ing couples: Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Jacobson, Jac-obson, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Oldroyd, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Seeley, Mr. and Mrs.' Abe Livingston, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Mayer, Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Anderson, An-derson, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Oldroyd. and Mr. and Mrs. Royal Ivory. A clinic for children of pre-school age was held Tuesday at the Tithing Office. Dr. Richards and Miss Prit-ard Prit-ard were here. About twenty children were examined. |
