Clamp them In a vise and bore a hole one-quarter of an inch larger then the pins through the pieces of wood so that half of the hole will bo In each piece. Line each half of the hole with leather one-eighth of an inch thick. Fasten a piece of leather over the end to act as a binge and fit a piece of emery cloth Inside the opening. Apply plenty .of light oil and clamp around the pin. Place the crankshaft In a lathe and turn at a moderate speed. A gentle pressure on the clamp will soon cut down the high places on the pin. |
