Wednesday evening at the high school gymnasium by the local Lions Club. Tall vases of red and while car nations, graced the long dining tables with a minature Santa Glaus at each plate. Fifty guests were- present. R. W. Candland was toast,mas( or ond George Squire had charge of the musical program. A resume of Iho years accomplishments was made bv the president V. L. Johnson, who nlso presented the club with a "real honest hon-est to goodness-" lion on wheels, Mra. Gco''gn H. Hughes and Mis-i Helen Madsen furnished mimic.
