I Ralph Ericksen, who has been playing with an orchestra in Idaho Falls, the past year and a half Is visiting here at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Erick Ericksen Francis Lund motored down from Ogden last week for a short visit with Mt. Pleasant relatives. A testimonial party and program will be given in the South ward chapel chap-el next Wednesday evening honoring Peter L. Andersen who leaves soon on a short term mission. Members of the Home Culture club met Wednesday ' with Mrs. Marjorie M. Broru. The afternoon's le9son on "Modern Women Welfare Workers" was given by Mrs. H. G. Ericksen, Mrs. Stanley II. Gill was in change of community singing and Miss Faye Jensen of the high school faculty delighted her hearers with several vocal numbers and readings. Luncheon was served for twenty guests. Special guests included Mrs. C. W. Sorensen, Mrs. A. E. Jones, Miss Faye Jensen and Miss Ada Sorensen. Mrn. A. W. Andersen entertained the Twentieth' Century Club at her home Thursday afternoon a short story "The Lost Lady by Willa Gather was read by Mrs. Sterling M. Ericksen Erick-sen and little Miss Rae Andersen played a piano solo. The next meeting of the dlub will be at the home of Mrs. Guy Candland on December 15 at which time a Christmas program will be presented under the direction of the club's fiusic committee.
