Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS The play "Robin Hood" has been selected for the annual M. I. A. presentation, pre-sentation, and will be presented in the near future. J stake choral organisation is also beng effected to assist in the stake work of the Y. L. and Y. M. M. I. A. Mrs. George C. Sorensen, Mrs. Bent R. Hansen and Mrs. M. C. Petersen of the Stake Relief Society board assisted in the re-organization of the Moroni East ward Relief Society So-ciety this week. The new presidency presiden-cy consists of Mrs. T. C. Gee, Mrs. Harriet Nelson and Lizetta Bailey. The retiring officers were Mrs. Catherine Ca-therine JJansen, Mrs. Velate Ander-feon Ander-feon and Mrs. Harriet Nelson. Rev. George E. Davies, D. D. ot the First Presbyterian Church o? Salt Lake, will be the speaker for the "Week of Prayer," beginning next Friday at Wasatch Academy. Dr. Davies will address the student body each morning at chapel and will preach at both servces at ithe local Presbyterian Church Sunday. In the absence of Dr. Davies from his owh pulpit Sunday morning the Rev. A. V. Boand ot this city, who will be in attendance at a state council meeting of Christian Endea-vorers Endea-vorers in Salt Lake, will preach at the Fiirst Presbyterian Church Sunday Sun-day morning. |
