Pleasant North and I South wards will unite In presenting I their annual drama next Tuesday evening, February 2 6th, at 8 o'clock ' sliarp, in the North Sanpete High j School auditorium. The drama, which is a comedy en-: en-: titled "Come Out of the Kitchen," is being prepared under the direction of Mrs. Francis J. Johnston Drug Store, and the admission ad-mission prices have been set at 25c, 35c, and 50c. Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock a matinee will be given for the kiddies at the high school auditorium, and the prices of admission for the little folks at this performance will be 10c. You all knw what an M. I. A. play means, so don't fail to see this one next Tuesday night. Prof. C, L. Johns. Two interclass debates were held yesterday at the North Sanpete High School, with the decisions in both cases awarded to the upper class students. The question, "Resolved That All Immigration to the Unnted States Should be Prohibited for a Period of Ten Years," was debated for the affirmative by Blanche Larsen and Helen Wat3on, juniors and for the negative by Ruth Carter and Anna Tucker, seniors. The judges, Mrs. H. C. Jacobs, Prof. Louis A. Peterson and A.'L. Peterson, awarded award-ed the decision to the seniors. The question, .'Resolved That all World War Veterans should Receive a Soldier Bonus" was defended by Paul Reynolds and Athene Allred, sophomores, for the affirmative and by Ruth Madsen and Ruth Neilson, freshmen for the negative. The decision de-cision was awarded to the affirmative speakers by the judges, Prof. C. L. Stewart, A. H. Anderson and Daniel Rasmussen. i Mr. and Mrs. Harold Halverson of Salt Lake have announced the birth of a daughter. Mrs. Halverson was formerly Miss Margaret Johnson, John-son, daughter of Mrs. Louisa Johnson of this city.
