Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS The South ward relief society officers of-ficers and teachers entertained Tuesday Tues-day afternoon at a series of parties for members who have been Bhut-iu and who have not been able to attend at-tend regular meetings. The parties par-ties were held at the homes of Mr3. Sena Jensen, Mrs. Alma White. Mrs. Mary Wise, Mrs. Anna Fredricksen. Mis. Lena Winkler, Mrs. John Gun-,dersen, Gun-,dersen, Mrs. Williamine Kolsrom, .Mrs. Lydia Reuwch, Mrs. Jacob Christensen, Mrs. Joseph Ren-burg and Mrs. Caroline Tidwell. In each home a varied program was presented and refreshments Ferved. Dr. Weston T. Johnson, Pacific Coast Secretary of the Board of Foreign Missions of the Presbyter-, inn Church, will speak here at the eleven o'clock service next Sunday morning in the First Presbyterian Church. Dr. Johanson Is a returned return-ed missionary from China. Sunday Sun-day evening, Dr. Johnson will speak in Salina and returning to Mt. Pleasant, Pleas-ant, will visit Wasatch Academy Monday nnd Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Larsen and Miss Jna Larsen left Saturday to spend two weeks Shelly, Idaho with Mr. and Mrs. Larsen'a son-i Berkeley and Raphael Larsen. |
