Show HEALTH WORK CREATES MUCH INTEREST HERE Sixty-four grade pupils were awarded "Knight-Bannerette' badges today at the conclusion of the "Health Crusade" program pro-gram given at the public school The awarding of these badges by Principal John F. Mower and Miss Adele Xarner, school nurse, marks the completion of fifteen weeks of health work. The health program was well attended by students and par ents consisted of health essays, songs, drills and exercises by the pupils of the first six grades. An interesting de bate "Kesolved, mat iieaiui ,i3 better than "Wealth," was presented by Chesley Madsen and Jane Peel for the a'T.rma tive and by Mabel Johansen and George "WagstaiT for the negative. The afiimative won the decision. Keen competition is evidenced eviden-ced by the students for health work honors and Principal Mower reports the results as most gratifying. |
