Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS Mr. and Mrs. James Flllis of this city are the happy parents of a fine eight pound baby boy, born Wednea, day afternoon, February 13th. A unique birthday celebration was held last Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George M. Olsen in honor of the fifty-third birthday anniversary anniver-sary .of Mr. Olson and his twin j brother John W. Olsen of Spring ' City. Tall vasess of roses and earn-j ations graced the dining tables which held covers for Mr. and Mrs. John , W. Olsen, Mr. and Mrs. George M. ! Olsen, Henry P. Olsen, Mrs. Amelia i Olson, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Olsen, Mr. an4 Mrs. William Hansen, Mrs Elisabeth Hp-nipshlre, Airs. Ojf L. Bradley of Burley, Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Clyde, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Har-old Oliverson, Mr. and Mrs. James Neilsen Tanner, Morris Olson and : the Misses Alice, Hannah, Cleona. and Ruth Olsen. . Miss Marjorie Winters entertained the Junior Literary Club at her home Friday afternoon. Miss Mar-: garet Thompson read act two of the play, "A Loving Wife," and Miss Grace Mae Sample and Miss' Ora ' Caldwell gave an excellent program j of vocal and piano selections. The Twentieth Century Club met ' Friday afternoon at the home of ; Mrs. James Larsen. The afternoon's program Included a biographical sketch of Eugene Field and several of his poems, by Mrs. W. H. Brlnton; "Little Boy Blue," Mrs. V. L. Johnson; John-son; piano solo, Miss Amber Han- ford. In a round table discussion of; a public camping ground, Mrs. H. C i Jacobs was appointed chairman to work with other committees on thi? project. Luncheon was served for twenty guests. The M .G. O. club met at the home of Mrs. A. H. Poulsen Wednesday. February 13th. Readings were given giv-en by Mrs. Helena Brandon and Mrs. Sarah D. Wilcox, and a vocal duet was rendered by Mrs. Ben Staker and Mrs. James Thompson. Dinner was served to fourteen guests. Under the auspices of the S. S. S. j Circle of the Woman's Missionary So-; ciety of the Presbyterian -Church,!
