Show FAIRVIEW SECTION Mrs. Selma Fahring, who spent the past month here, returned re-turned to her home at Sunny-side Sunny-side this week. Miss Thelma Larsen left on Monday for Montecello, where she goes' to visit with Miss ' Irene Cruser. . Mrs. Albert Clement Jr. went to Salt Lake City Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Komaro left Thursday for Colorado w.here Mr. Komaro has employment. Mr. and Mrs. Osborne parl-ston parl-ston of Murray are visiting relatives re-latives in Fairview. David Carlston and children returned from Mammoth this week. ' Henry Carlston and George K. Carlston of Salt Lake City came to Fairview to attend the funeral of Mrs. Julius Carlston. Carl-ston. Miss Darcas All red came from Salt Lake City last week on account of the serious illness ill-ness of her father. Joseph Carlston returned Saturday from Montana where he spent the past four months shearing sheep. ' Mr. and Mrs. John A. Anderson, Ander-son, Lewis Peterson and Mrs. Lorenzo Peterson left for Burnt Fork, Wyoming, this week- to visit relatives. Mr. and Mrs. David Sanderson Sander-son of Gunnison were Fairview visitors this week. Mr. ami Mrs. Palmer of Pro-vo Pro-vo visited relatives here last week. Feurman Brady went to Alta Monday where he has employment. employ-ment. Joe Vance of Idaho came to Fairview to attend the funeral of Martin Allred. Mr. and Mrs. Junius Allred mid Mr. and Mrs. Fred Allred of Idaho spent the week with relatives here. Mrs. Xels Johanson of Marys-vale Marys-vale and Mrs. Richard Snow and children of Garfield are guests of Mrs. Matilda Buch anan. Mrs. Zina Hall and Mrs. Ohns. Briggs went to Magna Friday where they will spend a . week with relatives. One of the Social Events of the week was a shower given Monday in honor of Mrs. Bert Willardson bv Mrs. Bruce Cox ;:nd Miss Belva Cox at the home of the former. The afternoon af-ternoon was spent in games and music. Each guest pieced a block for a- quilt for the Red Cross. Enough were made for a whole quilt. Many beautiful presents were given and much good advice to the bride. A dainty bancheon was served to thirty ladies. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis C. Larsen, Lar-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Larsen, Lar-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Ulysses Larsen, Lar-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Larsen and their families spent the week on a fishing trip in the mountains. Miss Belva Cox, Miss Verona Ver-ona Cox, Miss Euphema Anderson, And-erson, Miss Coquella Jones and Miss Rhoda Olsen are spending the week on the mountains. Earnest 'Orten, who was op-orated op-orated upon at a hospital in Salt Lake City some time ago, is reported as doing well. He has been ill more than three months. |
